Movement Director

Alicia Steeves is a queer Canadian artist based in Paris. She began her formal training at Alberta Ballet School’s full-time program in 2016, graduating in 2019. She went on to obtain her BFA in ballet and choreography from Marymount Manhattan College, receiving the Gold Key achievement in 2023.

She is a Sidra Bell Dance New York fellow and has worked with Sidra Bell Dance Company, Glenda Gheller, Sofia Nappi, Attic Projects, Joy Alpureto Ritter, Guy Shomroni, Mark Caserta, and Jenn Freeman.

Alicia has performed at Art Bath in New York City and has shown her choreography at NextFest, Judson Memorial Church, Decidedly Jazz Dance Theater, New York Short Film Festival, Pittsburgh International Dance Festival, Mark Morris Dance Center, and Candy Box Dance Festival.
