Movement Director
At a very young age Alicia Steeves Fell in love with movement. Devoting her studies to the art of movement, she obtained her high school certificate from Alberta Ballet School and went on to obtain her degree in dance and choreography from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. It was at school that she started working closely with Jaqlin Medlock, a photographer based in New York City. It was on those photoshoots together that she found her love for movement direction and being able to translate concepts onto the human body.
She is devoted to working with photographers, fashion brands, and creative teams to develop movement and physical direction for stills, campaigns, and editorial projects. Drawing from her background in contemporary dance, she translates concepts into dynamic, expressive images.
Alicia is currently based between Paris, New York, and Toronto, and speaks both English and French.
